Technology!

Last night I took one of my pictures of the bricks and used a drawing app called Procreate to draw on top of the bricks so I could see how I could model a quilt after it.  These aren't the colors I'm using...I just wanted to use lots of colors to see where everything would go.

    I'm so glad you did that. I love the brick pattern and didn't have time to look at it closely enough to convert it into quilt-talk.
    I hope you do make at least a small quilt like this. It is very interesting, and the brick layer had to be a true artisan! (I usually think of quilts lasting longer than buildings, so I'm glad this building is still around!)

      Milwaukee has some beautiful old school buildings. The building I work in was built in the late 30s and has lots of Art Deco details...lots of quilt inspiration!
